What Are Baby Courgettes?

Baby Courgettes are courgettes harvested at a young stage, giving them a petite, slender and cylindrical appearance. This green type has glossy, deep-green skin with faint cream freckles, creamy-white flesh and an immature seed cavity.

The specification calls for Class 1 produce that is intact, sound and clean, with uniform contents of the same origin, variety or commercial type and quality. Nominal length is 90–110mm (±10mm, including stalk), and base diameter is 10–20mm (±2mm).

Taste & texture
