What are Rainbow Baby Carrots?

Rainbow Baby Carrots are small, slender coloured carrots supplied with their green tops. The specification describes orange carrots together with purple and white varieties, with a target mix of 60% orange and 40% purple and white.

Each saleable prepacked unit contains at least 200g of fresh whole coloured carrots. Six units are packed into one outer carton or tray, making a minimum total of 1.2kg per case.

Taste & texture

Naturally Sweet. Colourful Presentation.

The product specification describes these tender carrots as having a delicate, sweet carrot flavour.

Carrots must be firm, sound and free from woodiness, forking, secondary roots and signs of going to seed.

From preparation to plate

One vegetable. Plenty of possibilities.

Rainbow Baby Carrots bring contrasting orange, purple and white colours to vegetable preparations. The following are suggested culinary applications, not specification requirements.

Wash before use. Trim tops if required and prepare whole or cut to suit the dish.
